Dan Springer has been the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Responsys since April 2004. Springer has over 20 years of executive leadership and strategic sales and marketing consulting experience, with proven success in interactive marketing, e-commerce and finance. As CEO, Dan is responsible for charting Responsys’ strategic direction and extending the company’s leadership into new realms of cross-channel marketing. Prior to Responsys, Dan was Managing Director in the San Francisco office of Modem Media where he was responsible for general management of the agency’s western United States operations. Dan led the development of the agency’s Performance Marketing capability by leveraging database marketing, website analytics and search engine marketing techniques. Prior to Modem Media as the CEO of Telleo, Inc., he refocused the business from online advertising to business partnerships with leading brands like Taco Bell. Previously, Springer was also the Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager for NextCard, where he built the fastest-growing credit card in history by creating one of the Internet’s top five advertisers. He started his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and DRI/McGraw-Hill. Dan holds an MBA from Harvard University and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Occidental College. Dan serves or has served as a board member of public and private companies, including E-LOAN (Banco Popular), ITI, and eGroups (Yahoo!), as well as not-for-profit organizations Shop.org, AdTech, The Randall Museum and The San Francisco Friends School.

Scott Olrich is Chief Marketing and Sales Officer of Responsys. He joined the company in late 2004 with the vision to create the leading cross-channel marketing company to help marketers across all industries more effectively execute campaigns across email, mobile, social, and Web channels all through one platform. Under Olrich’s direction, Responsys has launched groundbreaking cross-channel products, acquired leading cross-channel services companies like Smith-Harmon Inc., and been recognized for leadership in email marketing and cross-channel campaign management by independent analyst firms. Recognized by The CMO Institute in 2010 as one of the top 10 CMOs in the country, Scott is frequently quoted in leading industry publications such as Forbes, DIRECT, 1to1 Magazine, ClickZ, BtoB Magazine and DM News, and speaks regularly at industry conferences, such as Forrester’s Marketing Forum, NCDM, Omniture Summit, MarketingSherpa, AMA, and DMA events. Throughout his career, Olrich, who has more than 15 years of experience in the Internet, ASP, and consulting environments, has analyzed the marketing industry’s on-going transformation across all channels. Prior to joining Responsys, Olrich was a founding executive and Senior Vice President at Topica, an email marketing application service provider, where he helped the company become one of the nation’s largest email marketing companies serving the SMB market. Prior to that, Olrich was a senior consultant at Accenture in the Business Process Reengineering Group with a special focus on demand generation. Andy Priest leads and manages Responsys account management, professional services, and customer support operations. He has spent more than 20 years in the software industry, with more than a decade of direct experience leading worldwide professional services and customer care organizations. Prior to joining Responsys, Andy was Executive Vice President of Customer Operations at Open Harbor, where he was responsible for worldwide service delivery and customer care. Prior to that, Andy served as Senior Vice President of Professional Services at Epiphany, a provider of enterprise-level CRM solutions, and as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Brightware, where he led service and support efforts that resulted in a 100% growth in services revenue and a referenceable customer base of over 90% in key verticals. Andy has also held executive and senior management positions at Informix, Red Brick Systems, Information Builders, and HP. As CIO, Don Smith brings more than 20 years of deep technology and operational expertise in product development, quality assurance, customer support, implementation services, and sales engineering to Responsys. Prior to joining Responsys, Don was a member of advisory boards and/or provider of technical and business consulting services to numerous on-demand businesses — recognizing that they, and their customers, have unique operational needs. Before that, Don was the Senior Vice President of Customer Advocacy at Extensity, where he was responsible for Extensity's on-demand solution, IT, professional services and customer support. Prior to Extensity, Don co-founded Clarify Inc. and drove the entire development lifecycle of Clarify's flagship products. He also served as Clarify's Vice President of Worldwide Technical Field Operations. Early in his career, Don held technical and management positions at Daisy Systems and Texas Instruments. Chris Paul joined Responsys as Chief Financial Officer with 20 years of experience in finance and operations. As CFO, Chris is responsible for overseeing the company's global financial initiatives and driving fiscal discipline as it moves to the next phase of rapid growth in the on-demand marketing industry. Prior to joining Responsys Chris served as Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer at Determine Software. While at Determine, Chris was instrumental in implementing rigorous financial controls, cost efficiencies, and corporate governance compliance. Previously, Chris held numerous posts as Chief Financial Officer at both established and start-up technology companies, including Teros, Linuxcare, Cloudscape, and ICVerify, for which he successfully negotiated mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, and debt restructurings. He began his career at Ernst & Young. Antonio Casacuberta brings over 20 years of management and executive experience to the Responsys team. As Chief Technology Officer, Antonio is responsible for driving Responsys’ technical vision and leading the next wave of technical innovation and expansion at the company. He also assumes the day-to-day responsibility and management of Responsys’ world-class development team. He most recently served as Chief Technology Officer of Infospace, which ranked 20th on Wired Magazine’s 2006 list of the 40 most innovative companies on earth. While at Infospace, Antonio led the company’s product software development, including the release of award winning search properties such as Dogpile, metacrawler, and Switchboard.com, as well as industry-leading Mobile Search products. Prior to Infospace, Antonio a spent a decade at Oracle in management positions where he planned, staffed and led innovative technology development and implementation projects, including Oracle Application Server and MPP products. Before joining Responsys, Ed served as founder and president of Henrich Enterprises, an Internet marketing company he founded in 2005 focused on extending the usability of current web analytic tools to identify high performance segments and campaigns and take immediate action. Ed is a pioneer in the email marketing industry, having joined Post Communications (now Yesmail) in 1997 when it was a five-person startup. Over the course of eight years, he acted as the company's vice president of client services and president. During his two years as president, revenue tripled and the company achieved profitability. In 1997 Ed designed the analytics reporting system that was for years one of the major competitive advantages of the Yesmail technology platform. He has also personally worked to create leading email marketing programs at Hewlett-Packard, Macy's, Avon, Nine West, E*TRADE, Countrywide Financial, and Hotwire. Before joining Yesmail, Ed was a venture capitalist at Internet Capital Group, and a senior consultant with McKinsey & Company. Ed is a recognized authority in the Internet marketing industry and a frequent guest speaker at JupiterResearch, ClickZ and DMA conferences. John is responsible for product management, product marketing, and partner strategy at Responsys. He brings to this role significant software and online marketing leadership experience. Most recently, John was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence with several venture capital firms, and served as interim CEO of Revcube, an online marketing optimization startup. Prior to that, he led product management and marketing activities at Tealeaf. He was on the founding team of Topica, an early leader in the email marketing space, where he managed the product group and oversaw several acquisitions. He also spent a number of years at Oracle Corporation, where he was a key member of the team that brought to market their first generation of web-based solutions and application infrastructure. Earlier in his career, he was a product manager at I/PRO, one of the first web analytics companies, which was acquired by CMGI. Stuart Gold brings over 25 years of extensive marketing experience to Responsys. Prior to joining Responsys, Stuart was vice president of field and partner marketing for Omniture, where he built the company’s strategic partner program and led global event marketing strategies and sponsorships. Stuart was responsible for growing attendance at Omniture’s industry-leading event “Summit” by 500 percent in three years. Prior to Omniture, Stuart was vice president of partner marketing, global forums and sponsorships for BEA Systems. Stuart led a global team and also managed the multi-million dollar sports marketing relationship with Rahal-Letterman Racing. Prior to BEA, Stuart served as vice president of marketing, strategic programs and events for Ariba. He created Ariba Live, Ariba’s global annual user conference, and launched Ariba Magazine, securing leaders from Fortune 500 companies as cover stories (Carl Pascarella of Visa, Michael Dell of Dell, William Hannigan of Sabre, Pete Solvik of Cisco). Prior to Ariba, Stuart held various senior positions at Oracle. Stuart also spent over two years living in Europe during his tenure with SAP. Jerome has over 15 years of multichannel marketing experience providing strategic consultation to major enterprises in both the U.S. and Asia. Jerome joined Responsys with the acquisition of INBOX Marketing, Inc., where he served as president of this award-winning professional services firm specializing in the strategic optimization of email marketing programs. Previously, Jerome was founder and CEO of Truis Corporation, a B2B customer intelligence solutions provider in the CRM industry, working with clients such as Cisco Systems, Nortel Networks, and Microsoft.
Prior to Truis, Jerome worked with Niehaus Ryan Group, Inc. providing marketing communications strategies to major technology companies such as VeriSign, Texas Instruments Software, Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI) and AOL. Jerome also served in marketing and sales positions for Fritz Companies Inc. (purchased by UPS), a pioneer in integrated global logistics, in both the U.S. and the Far East. Jerome holds a BA in Political Science from UC Davis and currently serves on the board of directors at SCUSA (Sports Charities of America).

Bob Frick
Bob Frick joined the Responsys Board in August 2002, bringing 40 years of management experience with blue chip companies such as Bank of America and Standard Oil Company, as well as Measurex during the company's early years. During his 23 years with Bank of America, he served as the Vice Chairman of the Board, Chief Financial Officer, Executive in Charge of the World Banking Group, Managing Director of BankAmerica International, and President of Bank of America's venture capital subsidiary. Currently, Bob is an adjunct professor in business strategy for the Executive MBA Program at Saint Mary's College. In addition, he provides his extensive expertise in finance and business operations to seven private and public companies as a member of their Board of Directors. Bob has an undergraduate degree in Engineering and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
Bruce Golden

Bruce Golden has been focused on emerging markets and technologies since 1984, when he worked in the computer division at Lucasfilm. Bruce joined Accel in 1997 and specializes in enterprise and consumer software investments. Bruce currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at several private and public companies, including Amobee, comScore (SCOR), Qliktech, Responsys, and Streambase. Bruce was responsible for Accel's investment in Ajuba Solutions (acquired by Interwoven, Inc.), eCommerce Industries Inc. (acquired by Insight Venture Partners), Exchange.com (acquired by Amazon.com), Itemfield, (acquired by Informatica), Offermatica (acquired by Omniture), and SupportSoft (SPRT).
Prior to Accel, Bruce held executive marketing and sales positions at Illustra Information Technologies, a pioneer in the area of object-relational databases. In 1996 Illustra merged with Informix Software, where Bruce became General Manager of the Data Warehouse Business Development Unit. Prior to Illustra, Bruce spent eight years at Sun Microsystems in a variety of entrepreneurial roles, including developing Sun's strategy for the financial services market, moving to Hong Kong to help launch the Sun Asia subsidiary, and managing Sun's market development organization.
Bruce holds an MBA from Stanford and a BA from Columbia University. Bruce currently lives in London with his wife and two children.
Greg Gretsch

As a former founder and executive of four start-up technology companies, Greg uses his expertise to assist entrepreneurs in building strong businesses. Greg has been in the high-technology industry for more than 20 years. He joined Sigma in 2000, and brings to the firm expertise in new venture creation and marketing. Greg's successful investments as both an Angel and Venture investor include TalkingBlocks (HP), SlimDevices (Logitech), Postini (Google) and EqualLogic which was sold to Dell in 2008 for $1.4B, making it the largest all cash acquisition of a venture-backed technology company in history.
Prior to Sigma, Greg co-founded Connectify in 1997, an enterprise software company that sold software for Electronic Direct Marketing. After selling Connectify to Kana Communications in 1999, he stayed on board as the Vice President of Electronic Direct Marketing. Prior to Kana, Greg started GiftONE in 1996, which he later sold to SkyMall. In 1993, Greg launched his first start up, Vicarious, an education and reference CD-ROM publisher. Early in his career, Greg spent time at Apple where, in addition to spearheading product marketing programs, he lead a project partnering with CNN that offered the first public showcase of QuickTime. Mike Schuh joined Foundation Capital in 1998. He has more than 30 years of experience in the software industry and has held executive positions in sales and marketing in several key industries: mechanical and electronic design automation and enterprise software. Prior to joining Foundation, Mike was a founder and CEO of Intrinsa Corporation, a leading supplier of productivity solutions for software development organizations. Prior to this he held executive sales positions with Clarify, Cadence Design Systems, Voysys Corporation, Daisy Systems, Automatix Inc., and Computervision. In addition to his role on the Responsys Board, Mike is Chairman of the Board at Intrinsa and a member of the Board of Directors at Eloquent Software and Chronology Corporation. Mike holds a BSEE from the University of Maryland.

Tim Haley is a founding partner of Redpoint Ventures. Prior to founding Redpoint, Tim was a general partner with IVP, a firm he began working with in 1987 and joined in 1998. Tim focuses on investments in enterprise software and software infrastructure. Tim currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Homestead Technologies, Inc., Movaris, M7, Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) , and Reflect.com. He also led investments in ChemConnect, Inc., Onebox.com (acquired by OpenWave), Kendara (acquired by @Home) and Responsys, Inc. Prior to joining IVP full-time in 1998, Tim was the principal of Haley Associates, one of the premier executive recruiting firms in the high technology industry. Tim was instrumental in the formation of numerous successful companies, including Alteon Networks, Crescendo Communications (acquired by Cisco Systems), Epigram (acquired by Broadcom), Ipsilon Networks (acquired by Nokia), OnStream Networks (acquired by 3Com), Portera Systems, Primary Access (acquired by 3Com), Virage (IPO 2000), Whistle Communications (acquired by IBM), Whitetree (acquired by Ascend Communications) and Zip2 (acquired by Compaq Computer).
