Responsys and NxtERA Marketing’s Elana Anderson to Unveil New Model for Marketing Relevance at Forrester Marketing Forum

San Bruno, Calif. – April 7, 2008 – Few marketers are happy with their ability to deliver timely and relevant marketing messages. In fact, most agree that more individualized and integrated marketing communications improve the customer experience and increase response rates. But, when time is scarce, budgets are tight, and existing campaigns are already delivering ROI, why should marketers change the status quo?

Responsys CMO Scott Olrich and NxtERA Marketing founder Elana Anderson will highlight the imperative for increased relevance – and unveil first-ever findings on how to achieve this goal – at the Forrester Marketing Forum 2008 this week in Los Angeles. The high-impact session, titled Marketing Beyond the Status Quo, will take place at 2:25 p.m. PT on Tuesday, April 8 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.  The session will also feature innovative marketer, Randy Cuff, Director of CRM Development at Intrawest ULC, a world leader in destination resorts.

“As response to broadcast marketing declines, marketers must take concrete steps to out market their competition and make the most of their time,” said Anderson. “Relevance is the only way to cut through marketing clutter and I am very pleased to join Responsys to share important new findings on the strategies and tools marketers can use to overcome the hurdles to relevancy within their organization.”

“The road to marketing integration and relevance doesn’t happen through wishful thinking,” added Olrich. “It happens because you have a thoughtful plan, the required skills, and the right technology to get you beyond your current marketing status.  This ground breaking new research gives marketers a framework to evaluate the skills and technologies they are missing internally that are holding them back from their current status quo to becoming more relevant, and ultimately more customer focused marketers.”

Session attendees will be the first to access exclusive research from a new report entitled “Marketing Beyond the Status Quo”. The full white paper will also be available at Responsys booth #23 following the live presentation of the report findings.
