Responsys Accelerates Rapid Growth with Record-Breaking Q4 2006
Leading Email and On-demand Marketing Automation Provider Doubles Sales Team, Appoints New CFO to Help Manage Accelerated Growth and Expansion

Redwood City, Calif. – January 29, 2007 – Responsys, a premier provider of on-demand email and marketing automation solutions, today announced that it completed a record-breaking fourth quarter in 2006. In addition to adding more than 50 new customers, including iChapters.com, SEI, and Tribal DDB, Responsys has doubled its sales team with new hires from the CRM and marketing automation sector to keep up with the demand.

Responsys also announced the appointment of 20-year industry veteran Chris Paul as CFO to manage the company's accelerating growth in the on-demand marketing sector. Paul previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Determine Software, where he was instrumental in implementing rigorous financial controls, cost efficiencies, and corporate governance compliance. Paul has also held numerous posts as Chief Financial Officer at both established and start-up technology companies, including Teros, Linuxcare, Cloudscape, and ICVerify. He began his career at Ernst & Young.
