Relationship Marketing Manager

The Relationship Marketing Manager is a hands-on, experienced individual responsible for managing cross-channel marketing campaigns to customers and prospects. This individual collects and maintains data on existing customers and targeted prospects, and analyzes their product usage, contact history, website behavior, campaign response activity, and preferences to execute and report on marketing campaigns through email, web, direct, and mobile channels that enhance lead generation, pipeline acceleration, up-sell/cross-sell, and retention. This individual applies target personas and models that profile, identify, and prioritize new opportunities from prospects and the existing customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the cross-channel communication plan to increase customer engagement and retention, increase and accelerate new business opportunities, and optimize customer and prospect communication touch points.
  • Perform segmentation, testing, optimization and creative development analysis to support campaign goals.
  • Perform analysis to report on customer profiling, online activity, campaign response behaviors, retention, up-sell/cross-sell, and attrition.
  • Design, develop, and manage company segmentation rules and models, containing demographics, psychographics, and firmographics.
  • Perform ad-hoc recurring analysis and reporting of data to monitor key performance indicators and trends.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in online relationship marketing, preferably in the BtoB software or services space, including campaign development and analysis, data modeling, and segmentation structuring.
  • Experience in developing and executing online relationship and lifecycle marketing campaigns to increase response, revenue, and lifetime value.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage an effective, high-touch, customer-centric, community experience.
  • Experience with relational databases and demonstrated knowledge of database development, query development and logic, importing/exporting in a production environment is required.
  • Solid experience working with MS Office required (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access). Must be especially proficient with MS Excel.
  • Solid experience with email marketing, CRM, and web analytics SaaS applications strongly preferred.
  • Must have understanding of direct marketing compliance standards (CAN-SPAM, do not call regulations, etc).
  • Must have Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Sciences or comparable field.
