Senior Flash Designer

You are an expert Flash Developer who is fully versed in AS 2.0 and AS 3.0. You live and breathe in the Flash development environment and you are always pushing yourself in terms of your skillset and expertise. You are someone who fully understands design, the overall creative and functional goals of a project, and the need to manage and drive user experience within the context of a marketing campaign or brand framework. "Bringing a design to life" is your mantra and you are genuinely excited about taking flat PSD's and making them sing.

Candidate must:

  • Conceptualize, design and produce Flash elements within a wide variety of media: web sites, web portals, sitelettes, banner ads, online media, viral campaigns, etc.
  • Develop and program websites based on Photoshop comps
  • Apply advanced (AS 2.0 and newer) skills to rapidly develop multiple projects and applications.
  • Must be extremely savvy with Flash, both from a hands-on design perspective and know-how of
  • Flash development (hands-on Actionscripting skills).
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment is key.
  • Work with creative director to maintain design integrity throughout flash experience
  • Desire to and ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team environment.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Expert-level knowledge of Actionscript and Flash
  • Understanding of video and multimedia
  • Good knowledge of XML
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML Programming
  • Working knowledge of CSS and Javascript
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Flash, AS2 (or 3!)

Plus:

  • After Effects / Final Cut Pro / Premiere
  • 3D modeling & animation experience
