Responsys CareersDirector, Deliverability and ISP Relations Role Summary and Impact: Responsys has achieved phenomenal growth over these past 5 years as the recognized ESP leader in providing large and mid-sized enterprises who want to increase their marketing return with more relevant and timely lifecycle marketing. Increasingly, these enterprises are looking for a global partner that can drive increased results in the online channels with greater cross-channel marketing utilizing email as the hub of outbound, online, permission-based marketing. Deliverability is at the heart of the operational infrastructure, client value proposition, and our global go-to-market strategy to deliver the marketing success our clients expect from their relationship and investment in Responsys. Market leadership through these capabilities in deliverability requires operational excellence at large scale, global presence, thought leadership, outstanding relationships with ISPs and 3rd party/deliverability “ecosystem” players, product roadmap advances, and value-add client-facing initiatives and programs to drive customer success. It’s about not only doing the ‘expected things’ well, it’s also about effectively bringing all of these capabilities to bear to substantially differentiate Responsys. We want to build on the important successes achieved so far by hiring an experienced, innovative, and hands-on leader to accelerate the impact that our Deliverability team and initiatives have on the marketing success of our customers and the market success of our company. This role combines operational oversight, team management (including international), strategic planning / execution, client interfacing, industry out-reach, and business acumen. It will be part of the senior management team at Responsys and report to the Chief Customer Officer. This role will directly manage a growing team and work with other senior management in owning and influencing the overall impact Deliverability plays in Responsys’ growth and with our customers’ success. Candidates must have extensive experience in this space and, ideally, with having applied solid client experience, industry exposure, ISP interaction, operational responsibility at scale, together with great problem solving skills and a strong “team-oriented” personality.
