Description:
- Architect, design and develop, data warehouse solutions from scratch.
- Design dimensional models to suit application requirements.
- Develop and implement pl/sql procedures to process and load data
- Write JAVA/PERL/Shell scripts to automate data loads
- Use ETL tools like Informatica /Ascential / Ab Initio to design ETL Solutions
- Develop reports using off-the shelf products
- PL/SQL in Oracle 8i/9i or 10g
- Expert knowledge of Data Warehouse features of Oracle
- Knowledge of systems architecture as applied to data warehousing
- Expert knowledge of Oracle Query optimization and performance tuning
- PERL or Shell scripting experience
- Linux and/or Unix experience
- Good understanding of storage are networks (SAN)
- Experience dealing with large volumes of data
- 4-5 years experience in the Information Technology field
- Bachelor/Masters Degree in computer science or related field.
- Java experience
- Experience with one or more ETL Tools like Informatica, Ascential, or Ab Initio
- Experience with BI applications like Microstrategy, Hyperion or Business Objects
- Experience with MOLAP database products like SQL Server Analysis Services 2005 or Hyperion ESSBASE
