The Business Systems Analyst will work with multiple departments to understand complex business processes and strategies, and configure applications and systems into efficient application solutions. This position will require a self-reliant individual to use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of complex and technical tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Description of Position/Duties:
- Configure applications to meet business requirements and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies
- Construct summary and detailed views in Salesforce.com (SFDC) on all campaign, lead, prospect, opportunity, pipeline, account and revenue activities
- Assist with integration of third-party vendors
- Provide guidance for workflow template development and data filtering criteria
- Ensure consistency of usage conventions, compliance with best practices, and integrity of data.
- Provide oversight on mass data uploads.
- Provide training and administrative support for users; administer accounts, permissions, and configurations; and keep current on enhancements/documentation for Enterprise Business Applications (CRM, ERP, SFA etc.)
Qualifications:
- Advanced relational database knowledge and client-server concepts
- Development experience with T-SQL scripts and performance tuning. Comprehension of normalization, stored procedures and triggers.
- Experience with Web Services and scripting language, (JavaScript, Perl, XML), preferred but not required.
- Understanding of Business Analytics and the metrics that drive management decisions, and the ability to build reports and queries to support such metrics.
- Understand basic concepts and best practices of Sales Force Automation and the statistics and metrics that drive and support the sales process
- Salesforce.com experience is preferred, but other CRM/SFA system experience will be considered
- Develop Business Intelligence reports to support KPIs, performance and profitability metrics
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience
