Responsys celebrates 15 years of marketing innovation

Do you remember 1998? To jog your memory, this was the year when the search engine called Google first launched, the last episode of Seinfeld aired, a gallon of gas cost just $1.14 and James Cameron’s Titanic won the Oscar for Best Picture. It was also the year that Responsys was founded.

Yes, you heard that right, Responsys is 15. Our Chairman and CEO, Dan Springer, had this to say about the occasion:

Responsys was founded with the goal of revolutionizing the way brands communicate with their consumers through cloud technology. Within a year, the company had released the world’s first SaaS email marketing platform. That platform evolved into the Interact Marketing Cloud and today, we are privileged to work with some of the world’s best known brands, helping them orchestrate unique marketing experiences for millions of consumers across time and across digital channels.

As depicted in the below infographic, we now also have more than 1,000 employees across 16 offices in 9 countries. While our growth has been significant, we pride ourselves on maintaining the culture and camaraderie of a small company – that just happens to have a lot of employees.
