Back in Black

Call me crazy, but I honestly believe the introduction of the black iPod has ushered in a slew of suddenly-black merchandise and design. When was the last time you saw CB2 using a black background color? In some cases, it works: Bergdorf's GUCCI treatment fits. In others, it doesn't: Burberry's Fall Menswear message feels forced and off-brand.
